Graduation // Internships // Relationships // Faith // Moving // Blog // Vlog
The count down has begun. Nine more weeks until my college career is over. One hundred twenty-eight days until I move across the country to Orlando, Florida. If you missed last month’s update, I will be vlogging on my YouTube channel Madi and the Mouse as a more intimate way to share my experiences.
This week has consisted of working at Dutch Bros., hitting the gym, group work for my senior public relations campaign and searching for DCP roommates. I love my job at Dutch Bros. because we are there to brighten others’ days, therefore my coworkers are always having a good time. Work has been a refreshing escape on the days when stress tries to take over my mind.
While we’re talking stress relievers: I am going back to the barn! You might not know this about me, but I am crazy about horses. I started horseback riding fourteen years ago, (Wow I can’t believe that!) but I have taken a break from it during this school year. I can’t bear it any longer and I am going riding next week. Horseback riding was my first love, aside from Disney of course. I am so ready to feel the joy of being in the saddle once again.

I have a lot to prepare for after graduation and so much is changing. In the last few days I let my expectations overwhelm me and drag me down. Every new day I have to relearn how to put my trust in the Lord and understand that everything always comes together in His time. I must put in the effort to do what I can to reach my goals, but I believe that God will provide me with exactly what I need to get there.
My goal update continues to move forward! I told myself at the beginning of winter term that I would pursue my passions and hobbies and three months later I am finally doing that by going riding again! My adventurous spirit combines nicely with my drive to share events in a creative way. I have an interest in photography which has now blended with videography to become my vlog. The next video I upload will be a collaboration of my spring break trip to Seattle, Washington with my best friend Casey. What a fun adventure that was!

I have plenty of fun videos planned for my vlog, but I am having a hard time deciding what sort of adventures I want to share here on my blog rather than as a video. I plan to create a “Disney” tab for my blog, but I also want to be real with you about school and life and friends so I might try to postpone Disney-related blogs for a few months.
Comment below if you would like to see Disney content sooner rather than later!
