The Start of My Disney College Program

Today I am twelve days away from my Disney College Program! I am beginning to pack my life into just a few bags and fly across the country. It’s hard to believe I am leaving again for another adventure, but that is just the way I like it. A new city and a new community is waiting and full of opportunities I can’t even imagine.

I accepted a role as a “seater” (basically a restaurant hostess) at Walt Disney World from August 20 until January 3. Next week I will find out which restaurant will become my work location for the duration of the program. When I arrive in Orlando, I will finally meet the six other women who will be my roommates, and together we will enter the most magical place on Earth.

In my first week I will move in to my new apartment, begin job site training, learn all about The Disney Company and my role in the “show” and meet new people from all over the world. Get ready for a Disney World take over. Here, I will share with you the highlights of my Disney College Program and news directly from the mouse!
