I had a lot of plans and expectations when I began the Disney College Program and unfortunately I didn’t meet all of my goals. I started out strong and really wanted to keep up with my blog and also my YouTube channel, but life happened and my priorities changed unexpectedly. Many of the reasons I let media updates suffer were because I was having a great time in Disney World! I would have liked to capture every moment so I could look back on my experiences, however I quickly realized that my days were better when I lived them fully in the present and didn’t have to worry about getting the right content to post a blog, a new video or an instagram story.

As 2018 comes to an end along with the Disney College Program, I can say that I am happy with the wonderful memories I made and how I managed both work and fun. In this new year I would like to bring my blog back to life by posting at least once a month.

My DCP roommates are some of my best friends for life and I am so thankful for them, which means my last week with them here in Orlando was very hard as we tried to make the most of our time left in this magical place together. We all went our separate ways on January 3rd but…

ANNOUNCEMENT:

I have decided to extend my Disney College Program, which means that I have the opportunity to make magic now through May!

I am looking forward to focusing more on my own personal goals now that I have made Disney World my home. My life here is still as busy as ever, but less overwhelming and more routine.

Earlier this year I applied to many other Disney internships and things didn’t work out as I had hoped. I have been discouraged lately about my career path and unsure about how to move forward. This year will be hinged on discovery. I expect a new journey to begin, full of the same positivity and with added growth and guidance as I learn to follow the path that is marked for me.

Thank you to everyone who has loved and supported me. I am always learning and seeking more. My adventures will continue to present me with new opportunities and I will do my best to take advantage of them as they come. This year could be hard, and scary to enter more of the unknown, but with the new year in mind I’m looking forward to what is to come!
