I Want Adventure In The Great Wide Somewhere

Now that everything is finalized, I am excited to announce my plan for after graduation! Whoever said that the “real world” had to be boring? Work should not have to be excluded from the list of things that bring joy to life. 

I will be moving to Orlando, Florida in August, 2018 to begin an internship through the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World! I will be learning communication and service skills directly from the professionals who do it best.

My next adventure will be well documented online. I plan to continue blogging about my experiences and also to start a video blog via my Youtube channel Madi and the Mouse. You can follow along in real time as I explore the parks by following me on Instagram @madz_1010.

In a huge time of transition away from school, I am looking forward to spending a few months in the most magical place on Earth (and possibly more!) I have one more term left of college, and come June I will walk across the stage with a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and a major in public relations and a minor in Spanish.

My eyes and heart are swelling with the anticipation of another adventure in the near future! However, Spring term could be its own adventure here in Eugene, and I will make the most of the moments I have left with the community I have here. I won’t forget about my aspirations as a public relations professional. I am going to improve my communication skills as I work with guests each day inside the parks and also the more I share my stories with you!

GOALS UPDATE:

1. Stretching is a necessary part of working out (ouch!)

2. Remember to call my long distance best friend because she always makes me smile!

3. Make better use of the power of prayer.
